I have a site based on Elgg - which is using the River Addon theme to give 3 columns on the main site and uses Mobilze to create the mobile site.
My problem is that Mobilize goes not give the navigation tree for pages (which is the main content for the site). The Aalborg theme does this nicely on mobile devices but isn't what I want for the PC based site.
My question, then, is can I switch the theme for a mobile device - maybe using the IsMobile function....
Allborg on Mobile and RiverAddon elsewhere would be perfect - any suggestions welcomed
Regards
Chris

You must log in to post replies.Would be best to use this library in your plugin: http://mobiledetect.net
A) I'm not trying to write a plugin
B) If you're going to post a link it would be good if it actually worked....
No-one else has answered this and Per tells me that this is the only place to ask so I guess I have to try to solve this without any help
There's no other way to switch themes on mobile without using another library. You have to use/create a plugin in order to detect if the user is on a desktop or mobile or doing any sorts of customizations.
