Does anyone know of a simple form plugin I can use?
I want to create a form that users access and when submitted the content of the form is emailed to the administrator.
I'm also using the sticky widget plugin and I'd want the form to appear in the users dashboard.
Wish I was a programmer......

Yes, among many other things, my form plugin supports an email content feature.:

Hi Kevin
This does sound perfect for the task I need to complete.
I've tried installing your plugin, but get an error message following the activation saying that the plugin is 'misconfigured'. I think I made a mistake by unzipping the entire contents into a single folder within the mod folder. Should I have uploaded each of the plugins within the zip seperately to the mod folder?
Sorry for appearing a bit like an amateur, but I am.
Cheers
yes
Yes. Thanks. Got it working and so far I love it. Really nice......
Except.......and there always is one.......sorry.
I can't work out which form 'Type' to use in order to have the content of the form submitted either to my email address or to a private group (which would be even better).
Sorry, and I can't seem to work out the 'Link' to the form.
Hi Kevin.
Just a quick update.
I've now worked out the submission to an email. Which works great.
My form has been created to allow users to nominate a person for an award. I can't work out how to provide a link for logged in users to access, complete and submit the form. It would be ideal if I could make the form accessible from a group of from their Dashboard or Profile page. I'd ultimately like a link from the home page.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Hi Mick,
The form module provides the link but has little to do with Elgg navigation. There are various other plugins avaialble to configure the index page, etc.
I understand, but I've made the form 'Logged-in users' only. Navigating from the index page just pulls up a 'not authorised to view' message. ????
Not sure that I understand.
If you look at your form management area, one of the links next to this form should be the public link for the form.
This should be viewable by any logged-in user.
Ok. But from where?
I've managed to create a link manually from within a group, but I can't find where the public link has been added to any menu that a member has.
