Anyone got group_tools working with tinymce on Elgg 1.9/1.10?
The longtext input fields (e.g. description / welcome message) on the group edit page are no longer saving any changed content when group_tools plugin AND a tinymce plugin (like my extended_tinymce plugin) instead of the bundled ckeditor are used together on Elgg 1.9/1.10.
The problem seems to be caused by usage of hidden divs for creating the multi-tabbed group edit form by group_tools on Elgg 1.9 onwards (it worked fine with tinymce on the Elgg 1.8 version of group_tools). Any previous content of the longtext input fields shows up fine but any changes are lost on submit.
I've tried to get it working without success and I'm about to give up the group_tools plugin (as I CAN'T give up tinymce on my site!). If anyone has already solved the problem or has an idea that might put me on the right track I would be glad to hear.

No response, no suggestions. Nothing.
I've spend some more hours this week without any success. For whatever reason tinymce fails to work with group_tools. It seems it's only the jquery version of the tinymce editor that fails to work. Unfortunately, the non-jquery version is no alternative because you wouldn't be able to edit existing postings (mainly comments) using it on Elgg 1.9/1.10 because the editing is done via an ajax view.
I don't see any sense in spending even more time trying to get it fixed as it just gets me seriously frustrated and I don't get anything else done. So, time to say "Good-bye" to group_tools...

@Baptiste Sorry. But I don't see any patch that would deal with usage of Tinymce instead of CKEditor. Am I missing something?
The problem with usage of Tinymce together with Group Tools has nothing to do with any general issues (like deprecation issues) showing up when using Group Tools on Elgg 1.10.
Of course I would be still quite happy if anyone could provide any help with getting Group Tools compatible with usage of Tinymce again. To be quite honest this problem frustated me immensely during the last couple of months (to an extend that I've not done much work on Elgg at all recently).
I have upgraded to ckeditor from tiny mce. Actually i used autocomplete-tag in a same form where ckeditor also. The jquery i have added is 1.10 in autocomplete tag. So for that ckeditor is not working.
Any idead how to solve this issue ??
@Himansu: Please don't hijack other threads. This discussion here is about tinymce and NOT about ckeditor. Better start your own thread about your issue.
And as a sidenote regarding the issue of this thread: it's fixed in version 4.1.10 of Extended Tinymce.
