It worked when my site was ver 1.7, not since.  If there's a solution I never saw it.

I'm open to other options?? :-) Do we know if there is a specific reason it doesn't work in the file plugin? security concerns or some other reason??

Audio should work fine out of the box, for video in files you could try my plugin or nubeso player
