;)
i am still using elgg 1.8 here in production, since there are still key plugins that have not been upgraded to 1.9+.
i already upgraded my own plugins (mostly) to 1.9 level (basically - without optimising js for AMD) and now am looking at 1.10 and wondering where to go with this. do i skip 1.9 altogether? i can only see 2 plugins that are listed for elgg 1.10 presently.. is that a problem?
can i just use 1.9 plugins in elgg 1.10 anyway without any problem? the claim was made by core devs that 1.8 plugins would be ok in 1.9, but that was not the case at all... so i am wondering if anyone has any concrete info and tips from experience here?

@Ismayil Thanks for the confirmation, as old as this site is, I expect issues to be specific to me, so its good to have reassurance that someone else sees the same issue.
The issue I would like to fix the most is the redirecting me to the front page when I use the "Up" "Down" "Top" or "Bottom" buttons on the plugin screen. It moves the plugin, but then it redirects me. Very annoying when dealing with loads of plugins.
I am using nginx and php5-fpm, but I don't think it is related (could be though). Anyone have any ideas?
@bman, I found the problem and make a pull request. It should be in with the next 1.10 release. Just really bad old SQL queries.
@Ismayil Awesome! Can you link me to the pull request so I can apply the patch?

Worked great, thanks again @Ismayil.
My issues moving plugins and with the widgets on the admin screen seem to be related to Chrome. Working in firefox.
