I'm running 1.9.8 and have been searching through the plugin's to try and find one where it will embed a youtube video simply from the url.
There was an old one that doesn't appear to work with 1.9.
I took a look at iZap but it's allowing me to upload videos to the server and I don't want that. I have posted a comment asking if it's possible to have iZap work by just entering the url.
I know there is the 'HyperWall' that might do it but I'm not using the wall feature. This would be for posting mainly in blogs, pages and discussion.
Does anyone know of a plugin that will do what I'm looking for that also works with 1.9?
Thanks
Dan

I tried setting custom providers to 'Yes' since that is what you have and still doesn't work. What is interesting you have them all set to 'No'. I even tried changing the 'Display video in Comments' to 'No' and still it doesn't work.
Oh well, I guess unless I stumble across the solution I'll have to live with it.
I set the blog option to yes and it shows up. It's weird how yours don't display videos in comments. I'm running fresh install of Elgg 1.10
After I upgrade to PHP 5.4 (required for 1.10) I'll upgrade but for for now I'll be staying with 1.9. I have a couple of other scripts and don't want to risk breaking by upgrading to PHP 5.4 from 5.3.
You can try following plugins
Thank you for the links. I'm currently using the second link, Embed Extender. https://community.elgg.org/plugins/787632
