In my Elgg settings in my cPanel hosting, I selected Create a backup and update to new minor versions and security releases option or should I select as Do not update but update it manually in order to be able to delete the following core directories (same level as _graphics and engine): _css account admin dashboard entities friends search settings simplecache views? Where can I find the following core directories if I select the 2nd option? In my file manager, there is none of these directories.
