With the several changes in Elgg 1.9.x - is it possible to bookmark an user ?
Then show in a profile widget "Bookmarked" by 10 (and click to show who)
Similarly - show who this user has bookmarked
Additional useful thing will be if I can remove a bookmark which someone has made on me, which I do not like
 

This is useful in the scenario when Friend is being used for 2 way approval based befriending, and when the "Followers" plugin has been orphaned for Elgg 1.9.x
