Dear Helper,
I want to hide some flields I`ve to use in register form in the user profile.
Such like Firstname, Surname Street ... should not be shown in the user profile if other users take a look at this.
Thank you for helping me.
Best Regards

With the Profile Manager I can add/create profile fields. This profile fields are visible in the register form if I choose this option. So I can hide this fields in the register form. But there is no option to hide them just in the visible userprofile and not in the register form.
Thank you for helping.

Sounds like a good feature request for the profile manager team! I'd recommend posting in their github repo or plugin page.
And the answer is?
I have to wait for a while?
Thank you for answering me.
i believe if you make the fields admin_only you can still add them to the register form, however this also means a user can not change the fields any more after registration. The specific option you need is currently not available. There are some plans for adding more control to the fields, but they are not developed yet, and if they will, they will be for Elgg 1.9
thank you very much
