What is the default for comments? I can't find any settings relating allowing or not public comments. What I want to is to disallow any non-logged in users from leaving any comments while still allowing users to make blog posts etc public. This seems to be the behaviour form my testing but v0.9 had an explict disable public comments setting - has this gone or can I just not find it?

I wonder....
how about allowing "not-logged-in users" the facilty to post but grabbing their IP# ?
@JohnH
EMail me this is a big enuff concern for yr UK educationals..
OK - thanks. That's the behaviour I want.
What I want is comments unticked, "not allowed" by default in blogs. Where I can fix it?
Are there elgg trems that are the opposite of 'allow' and 'checked"?
