Is it possible to embed a PDF file into the front-end of a Group, either using a widget or plug-in? Tried using HTML but nothing works!

You must log in to post replies.It is possible, you need to change the widget view in the files plugin to properly display PDF files.
When I add widgets onto the group front-end, I have HTML, discussions, etc. Options but no options appear to display any files let alone an embedded PDF; hence I need a widget/plugin to allow this. Can you explain how I recreate what you're suggesting?
I have purchased SW Social Docs for Elgg 1.8 and cannot get it to work in the way I would like, help anyone?
Can you explain what problem you're trying to solve? Displaying PDFs isn't well supported because it's almost never a good user experience on the web... Maybe if you give us some background info we can suggest an easier alternative.
