Can't upload images

Hello, i want to use tidypics 1.05 on my fresh elgg 1.2 installation but i cant upload pictures....
no error in error_log i only see thumbnail, thumbnail e.t.c.
sorry for my english!

only i was once able to upload pictures, now i can't. the boxes for file selection no longer show up. i can add pictures to existing albums, but can't on a new one. i tried reinstalling the plugin and intalling the swf plugin (just for kicks) and nothing. i didn't do anything since it was working, and afterall, it does work once the album has been created.
