Missing Username form field at initial admin account registration

Hey Marcus and Dave!!
Hope you are all good, How have I managed to do this?
I am just tinkering with elgg on my local machine, mac os 10.5 with mamp which I have used to test elgg stuff on fine before.
After 3 clean installs (ie: re-downloading elgg package each time and installing in a different location with a different database), I get the initial registration form but it is missing the fields for 'display name', 'email address', username (see attached image) and if I click to the home page the login form is also missing the 'username' field.

You must log in to post replies.Can you go to your Registration page, find the source ("View File Source" in Firefox after right-click), and cut & paste here the lines between <!-- canvas --> and <!-- /#layout_canvas --> ?
This way we can see what's coming to the page.

That looks like your login page source. The discussion is about the Resitration page. :)
yes i am sorry you are right - mine is at the first admin registration after the build..
