weellll ;-(    I can get aaudio to play mp3 on my PC Elgg... but still no luck on my server ;-( i'll keep on trying to find what the bug is...

OK... So much frustration... kept seeing it play almost anything on my local PC but server....

So I did a ver simple "debug" - swicthed on LiveHttpHeaders (didn't think of that before)

Pooofffff  !! 403 Forbidden !!!

Now I need to prowl around the whole tree of my server space to see where that sneaky "leach-protect" code might be hanging out wrongly coded or broken.. unless aaudio is sending wrong signal for my Elgg's data folder... a little bit more time..

well, having figured out the hard way why aaudio wasn't working.. i'm waiting for harcha to finish install on hos server and see it working ;-) he's actually offered to pay me for the code fix and he is gonna do so by treating his kids to some ice-cream, dinner, etc.. whatever he likes ;-) then i'll be happy !!!

now.. i'm thinking about... ..?

what about extending aaudio to also be a real plugin and give it it's own index page which can then display uploaded mp3 files -

• yours
• friends
• the world

and the that forms the current aaudio playlist ?

might be fun ;-)
