@ Pawel Sroka and Brett - yes, I think people knows that - 1.9 will be responsive and mobile friendly - that is the first and foremost reason we are waiting for 1.9 eagerly out of the 3 rerasons I listed above.

We all have noticed that blog post, downloaded and tested 1.9 - and core/vanilla/default install of 1.9 works fine when I/we last tested it - now we need the plugins working at least in an alpha way.

There is also a backport of aalborg theme by Juho - https://github.com/juho-jaakkola/elgg-aalborg_theme

I know 1.9 comes with the Aalborg theme, I was just saying that plugins in most of the cases are responsive as long as the theme is, because Sathiskhumar thought it wasn't and that I'm not going to share my theme :)
