Changers.com is deploying ELGG as the basis for our new community. We have a custom theme already, however we would like to modify the widget system to suit our needs. We have approached the original developers however had have no response to date, so wish to open this up. Our timeframes are tight....

At the moment, widget systems are based upon fixed width, three or four columns, infinite height. We wish to make this a four column system with widgets spanning one or more columns, and fixed height. We also wish to have mandatory widgets, plus the ability to force a new widget onto existing user pages.

Once the structure is in place, we wish to have the key widget elements rebuilt to suit our needs (activity stream as a double column widget, for example), plus have several widgets built to suit our needs specifically. Please let me know if you are interested and we can discuss the scope more fully.
