Hi this is probably a very novice question, but I couldn't find a suitable answer by searching. I'm trying to show the webpage I'm designing using elgg as a base to someone on his home network. My solution was to copy the elgg folder from my desktop on to a usb key.
I copied the elgg folder from my usb key to the xamp/htdocs/sites folder along with the data folder. When I'm running xampp and try to open the elgg location (192.168.1.30/sites/elgg/elgg-1.8.18/) I get a blank page, and with debug running, the error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function elgg_in_context() in C:\xampp\htdocs\sites\musynapp\elgg-1.8.18\engine\lib\elgglib.php on line 1198.
Is there any quick fix to elgg so that I can open it on any network?

You must log in to post replies.Elgg needs to know where it's installed to load files correctly, so you can't install it somewhere then move it. You'll need to follow these directions to move an installation: http://docs.elgg.org/wiki/DuplicateInstallation
The quickest answer is to install it on a public server.
