How to remove menu items and add ones you like only or custom ones
Using elgg cms for hosting sites:
heres the site http://sz1.eu i am changing this site and 2 others that are hosting sites and i want to get rid of the menu items and just display certain bits of the menu, i want remove posts , files, members, groups, how can i do this and what file do i edit? or files and what line and where do i add the code exactyl? thank you for any replys at all

UK, do you mean the 'more options' menu items on your website.
Anyway, you should never edit the core, just unregister the menu items that you don't need in your plugin/theme's startfile.
elgg_unregister_menu_item('site', $item);
Have you tried the menu builder plugin of Jeroen?
not using a theme but i disaled plugins lol how could i miss that! silly me, no but i will now thanks driesdk appreciate your help a lot : )

how can i hids the login box on the index page i am using wdget manager?
