It's easy with some tweaks and additional plugins like River Addon, Custom Activity...

@ RvR , I think what masoud is looking for is a default page profile for all elgg users with each user having a single page like this http://gokubwa.com/gosiri/  Then the rest of the elgg pages or plugins to remain the way they are. Why have a page like this? it gives a user alot of options to work with just like the Elgg profile plugin does but even more. Also, A user can chage their own top banner and the page can pull all their activities, photos, blogs, pages, river, files posted by friends, followers, and even themselves. 

I might be wrong but these are just my thoughts...

@Tom I like the idea of a cover photo, did you use Wordpress for it or Elgg ?
