Is there a way moderate different types of content from within elgg.
I am familier with the features allowing reporting of inappropriate content, but I was wondering if there is a way to setup moderation so that file posts, discussions, blog entries, etc. can be moderated before they are publically available?
Is this something that would require me to develop custom plugin(s)? I just don't want to reinvent the wheel if I don't have too. Thanks - Hal

You must log in to post replies.Henry, have a look at this PlugIn
it may be what you're looking for. Beyond this, there's nothing else so far for Elgg that traps / blocks spam / junk on user input.
I have myself done some research into using Beysian algorithms and similar heuristics to identify content spam.. but have not put that type of code into a PlugIn yet.
