No blog menu

Just installed elgg into a subdirectory on my server and everything runs fine except my blog plugin. No menu shows on the left hand side - the only thing showing is the Bookmark This and Report This links.
Could it be a Url direction problem in one of the files?

I`ve the same problem at the moment.
But i can see the category menu too.
Yeah I did not have the url directing properly - I have a custom menu with tabs I had, mod/pg/blog/everyone.php should have, mod/blog/everyone.php
