HI, I HAVE THIS PROBLEM WITH MY ELGG 1.8, EVERY TIME I LOGIN AND USE THE SITE FOR A WAIL, IT TELLS ME "FILED TO CONNECT HTTP://WWW.ABADIESOCIAL.COM/YOU MAY EXPERIENCE PROBLEM SERVING CONTENT. PLEASE REFRESH THIS PAGE." AND WHEN I REFRESH THE PAGE, IT LOGS ME OUT AND WHEN I LOG IN AGAIN, I SEE A TOTAL DIFFERENT ACTIVITY TIME LINE (OLDER POST) DISPLAYING AND THE RECENT POST MADE BY ME AND OTHER USERS ARE NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. WHEN I GO TO ADMIN PANEL TO VIEW PLUGINS, I SEE PLUGINS I DELETED STILL SHOWING UP. WHAT COULD THIS MEAN AND HOW CAN I RESOLVE IT? THANKYOU.

You must log in to post replies.probably because you have a plugin installed that is conflicting refresh use cc cleaner then check again, refresh your browser bascially, looks like you got a missing page has been deleted clear caches upgrade if this is not solved someone else will be able to solve this for you
Disable all non core plugins and check whether the issue is happening. If the issue is not there, re enable the plugins one by one and find the culprit.
I have disabled all core pugins and third party too but problem still persist i think it should be database issue. is there any plugin to clean up database incase it hase two different loggin tokens
I have noticed it happenes when i login from two different browsers or systems especialy when it refuse to log me in and i force a login (despite the fact that i am already logged in in another computer)
Take a look at the Admin FAQ: http://docs.elgg.org/wiki/Category:Administration_FAQ
all caps is irritating. it is like screaming at people... good luck with finding a solution.
The cookie used to identify your login session is unable to handle a login from two different browsers at the same time. So, it's the expected behaviour that you get logged out on the first browser as soon you log in to the same account from a different browser.
thanks guys. its working fine now. I solved it by enabling database cleanup and selected a every week and I also enabled htmlawed
