How to add a new custom blog field

Please i was able to add a new custom field but it doesn't display the contents of the new field when the blog is viewed.

Please any help is much appreciated.

When adding a new input field to the blog form you will have to modify the blog edit form, the blog edit/save action and the blog view (or any views the data from the new field should show).
