Does anyone know when Elgg 1.8.17 and 1.9.0 will be released?
I'm just asking because these milestones information in Elgg's Github has past due by amount 1 month. So I think this documentation is outdated.

I did ask the same 2 weeks ago and got no useful reply.
It sounds like: or everybody are toooo busy to post this information on Github or instead nobody care about this project anymore. The first one is true, I hope...
Elgg development is quite active, though it is done on a part-time basis by volunteers so sticking to a hard schedule is not very realistic
Would be nice if someone can tell me why my 1.9 isn't working right main index loads but every link and page gives me 404 page. Have the elgg in subfolder and rewrite set to subfolder???? Would give elgg developer ftp access for testing if interested..!
@LT Do not hijack a discussion thread, please. This thread is about the release dates of Elgg versions. Not about fixing your Elgg 1.9 installation.
Matt; no problem if the team haven't achieved the aim to release 1.9/1.8.17 in a previously planned date. You guys, can change it whenever you need. But, it doesn't cost much of your time changing the milestone date in Github just to let us know what you think is the new release date. In such way, the realistic schedule will be realistic for all of us and then we can plan our projects according to this new reality.
Do we have ETA for elgg 1.9?
For the two 1.9 milestones we have 26 open tickets of varying difficulty. I've projected releasing an RC for 1.9 in two weeks (probably unrealistic but we can try). Feedback from the RC will dictate how much work we have left for the full release. In the meantime I've stuck it on Nov 1.
Any news about the 1.9 release?
@Augusto Moreira , Elgg Github release time is based on number of active tickets!
