You must log in to post replies. It's hard to say with such little information. Could be anything from the server itself, to elgg (what version?), or a badly written plugin.
How many users? How many plugins? Do you have anti spam tools in your elgg network?

When I share image to facebook. About 200 user, ram is 10gb. Normal about 30 user, ram will 2gb. I use 20 plugins. Tidypic, video youtube, theme, facebook connent, lazyload, contact and a some plugin elgg. I custom theme of Tidypic .
Do you have tool to check why memory is overload?
The generally recommended approach is to disable plugins until the problem goes away -- then you've found the offending plugin. Vanilla Elgg does not use gigabytes of memory so I guarantee it's a plugin
I think maybe If caches's not working. Memory is high? I worry beacuse I moved server.
