I was thinking it'd be nice if there was an elgg IRC channel. I'm aware there is a freenode one, but nobody is on there. Would you go on it if I was to make a channel?

thanks - i just went to login and saw the error message: Error Connecting (ETIMEDOUT)
You might have to refresh it and try again. It happens to me aswell, but works on second try.
refreshing didn't change that for me.. i continue to be unable to login
Works when you enable SSL
aha ok.. refresh + ssl on = login
