Nobody wants to help with my question
I install elgg from turnkey linux onto windows 7 under orcale virtual box with no domain and now I can not access the page to set it up, what am I doing wrong?
If no one if going to help then I will have to use phpbb from turnkey linux at least I know this software works right out of the box with "NO PROBLEMS"

You must log in to post replies. Most likely nobody is answering because nobody uses turnkey linux. I don't, therefore I have no idea what your problem is. Why not install it properly?
;oO;X;P yepz! i doubt if *anyone here even has heard of 'turnkey linux' virtual boxes, etc ¡! that's a really hard way for testing new software... ;P why not just use the traditional methods ? windows, xampp, install in about <= 3 minutes and off you go ! it's that easy, rather than wasting time trying to get questions answered by people who don't even know 'turnkey' !;-X and by the way 'oracle' db is not supported for elgg.
what is turnkey linux? i'm assuming you can navigate your site using http://localhost ?
Hi,

I wouldn't recommend that 'Turnkey Linux' it is better, as Dhrup said, using XAMPP, WAMPP, etc.
