I'll offer up some web hosting on my account if anyone wants to work on a website for tidypics.
Suggestions?

You must log in to post replies.I wonder it is spread around too much already. There is already an elgg tidypics group, elgg tidypics team (user page), and a google development site, not to mention the tidypics plug-in pages. What advantage would this have other than adding to the confusion?
@skotmiller I don't mean to sound negative and your offer is great, but where will it go if it gets its own site, a paid plugin? that so many community members have contributed to, wether advice or time debugging or actual coding.
As discussed elsewhere, paid plugins for Elgg don't make sense since it is GPL.
An Elgg demonstration site focused on tidypics wouldn't be a bad idea. Right now Gabriel is using his own family Elgg site as a demonstration site but it often doesn't have the latest code. The team is not really large enough to support another site. This latest version is taking longer than expected (but that's normal).
I was just suggesting a site to centralize (it is too spread out and searching for answers is a chore sometimes) the tidypics info/demo/showcase, not to ask money for it. I have a reseller account and was offering some space, and some admin. I use the package but don't really contribute to the development (I'm not a developer). I can build websites and was just offering to help.
I think Scott's simply offering server space for an Elgg-based web-site where the latest most current TidyPics can be demo'ed and maybe.. Being such a nice PlugIn -- it will be nice to have a demo site TidyPics.Com ;-) -- it wll probably make the PlugIn even more popular because new Elggers will be able to play with a live demo and see just how good TidyPics really is without having to install, install...;-) commercializing into a paid-plugin need *not to be a issue, I am sure that anyone who likes TidyPics and wants to donate will ask to be able to donate anyway ;-)
