Perfil de usuario

hola que tal, tengo un problema espero me puedan ayudar a resolverlo. Necesito exponer un método que me permita obtener los datos del perfil de un usuario registrado en Elgg, trabajo con la versión 1.7 y hasta el momento lo único que he logrado es obtener el avatar de cada usuario, pero no la información. Espero me puedan ayudar, se los agradesco mucho.
