Diego de Itu the problem with this is then you are putting into your members list that is searchable the names that you don't want on your site as in f*** etc
Have you thought of deploying a javascript into the text input tag? The script can import a list of words from a text file that you can add words to as you need. This would act similar to form validation and would tell the form to clear the field and produce a message telling the user to change the name.
Just an example: <input type="text" name="username" onChange="checkName();"
