Changes to documents require deactivating and then reactivating the custom theme plugin to take effect

When I make modifications to the CSS of my custom theme plugin, for example, and then refresh the browser, nothing happens. I have to deactivate the custom theme plugin and then reactivate it to see the changes. What is going on? Any insight is appreciated.

You must log in to post replies.Elgg caches CSS. So, you need to flush the Elgg cache to see changes to take effect or you need to disable the caching (Advanced Settings page) during testing to see the changes immediatelly.

Your browser caches CSS as well, so in addition to flush the elgg cachew you should delete cache in the browser (browser data)
