Hi Gustav, I could help you with this. Drop me a line via PM for talk more about it.
Hello gaurav,
Is it necessary that phpList be integrated as a plugin into your elgg site, or simply you would like to use the two in conjunction with one another?
Basically both applications are simply PHP powered software, so you can install elgg to one section of your website, and then install phpList to another. When you'd like a user to sign-up to one of your phpList lists then you could simply create an external link in elgg to point to your subscription page.
You can follow the instructions on my guide on how to install phpList manually for setup steps, and then how to create a phpList subscribe page for steps on how to setup a subscription page to allow your users to sign-up.
Simply using the two pieces of software separate like this might be a good option for you, until someone can invest the time it would take in order to directly integrate phpList in as a plug-in into elgg.
Hope that helps.
