I opened a new shared server, gave it a real domain, and installed the MP Multi-site Beta for 1.8. I have it to the point where it asks me or offers me the option to create a new default domain, but I am able to get no further than this:
It does allow me to delete the failed attempt. Any idea what I am hung up on?

maybe that mysql user doesn't have enough permission?
I'll look into the lack of adequate permissions for the database, but I believe this user has full permissions. Actually I created a second user with full permissions and the same result. My hosting has pointed the paths as the script calls for. Anybody else have any idea?
what kind server/ hosting do you have ?
This is driving me nutz! I get to the point to add a new default domain and it fails every time. But, I can create a new user without error.
I created an app that had to create/delete entire databases - on some shared hosting it wouldn't work because hosts disable database creation through any methods other than cPanel or whatever they're using. My guess (without any other context) is that's the problem.
