Alright, so I finally have my first real issue. I deactivated all my plugins except Lees Site Offline to disable the Elgg before I copied over all the files, renamed the new .htaccess file and uploaded it, then ran the upgrade.php. Everything was fine, upgrade done. After re-activating all the plugins, I notice when I click on my inbox to check my messages, it redirects me to the main page and I receive an error message that says this:
Warning: The Page Owner 0 is not accessible!
Any ideas how to fix? I tried to disable the messages plugin, didn't work, deleted the messages plugin from the mod folder and re-uploaded it, enabled it and ran the upgrade.php again, didn't work, same error message, thanks for any help.

Team member for Liang Lee: Wayne Lee has come through and helped fix the issue, anyone with this problem can get the new framework here:

@kimberly See, I was right about the Liang Lee" Framework" causing problems :)
That's why I don't recommend Framework plugins, because if the framework fails, every plugin that 'requires' the framework will fail, which you just experienced and mentioned in this threat. Not a good programming practice but it is up to the people who use the plugin.

Yes Lee's team came to the rescue, but what would happen if like so many other developers have done, leave never to come back. You would be in the cold waiting for some one to patch it like ne0blade has done or you would have to repair it yourself. Something to ponder when deciding on plugins that are dependent on a non elgg sub core. Also you as an admin should not update your elgg core until you have verified that all the plugins have been tested with the latest elgg version. You can do this by testing on your localhost, using programs like XAMPP, before you commit it to your production site
That is some definite good advice, and I had no idea how to be able to test on the localhost, sounds like a real wise idea though for the future.
