Yes. I would too if my site generated enough revenue. I would gladly donate to the core developers! Without them, my site wouldn't be possible :)
Mine has >90% possibility for "success" as it is for professional and educational purpose and already has 50k+ connections/audience via other sources(not elgg, it is still in workshop ) already. My worry is "to scale".
