We are proud to announce new feature in izap-videos plugin for elgg. In izap-videos version 4.2.0b you would be able to provide videos uploads to your users without having the dedicated resources. We have integrated with the YouTube Developer API. Which is just like a peice of cake to enable video upload feature on your site. Following are some easy steps to enable (Embeddable videos and YouTube videos). All videos would be uploaded on YouTube and handled by YouTube servers. So there is no overload on your hosting servers. This would be the huge feature for the users who are using shared hosting and still want to enjoy video upload feature.

Following are the steps to Activate (Embeddable + YouTube) videos:

1. Click on “Activate youtube channel to handle uploaded videos.” under on server videos and “yes” under off server videos and press the save button at the bottom to save all the settings.
2.  To Activate Youtube API , you will need to have a Developer Key. To create a Developer key click on the “Create Yourtube Developer Key” .
   
   
   
3. It will redirect to your Google account login, login in your account and it will redirect to your developer API. You might need to create new developer key. So go thorugh that.
   
   
   
4. Copy and paste your deveoper API Key in admin panel and press save button. 
   
   
   
5. Go to your site and save new video by choosing any category as listed in dropdown,give required information and press save button.
   
   
   
6. As you pressed save button it will redirect to you on login window of google Account. Fill username and password that you filled during getting or creating Developer API key. 
   
   
   
7. After you logged In it will ask you grant access option. Press on grant access button. 
   
   
   
8. Then it will redirect back to your site where you can choose video to upload. 
   
   
   
9. Press the upload button after choosing video. It will upload video on your site as well as in your youtube channel.

1.  Youtube is very particular about the content provided. So catagory selected while adding a video should be appropriate to the content you want to save (Title, description etc).
