Hey everyone.  I'm new to both php and elgg.  I'm really jumping in to it though and I'm enjoying elgg.  I wanted to add Link Previews to thewire and activity like Facebook and Google Plus do and make it an elgg plugin. Any ideas on how to approach this or if someone would like to jump in, I would really appreciate it.  I found this, which looks like it would work if it was ported to elgg.  I'm not sure though. The files he used are available for download on the site or github.
