Greetings All ~
I went to log in this morning to find this error message on the main page. I can view profiles via direct link, etc. but on the main page where there are the "Latest Members, Latest Blogs" etc. this error is displayed and the rest of the page is blank:
All files must have an owner!
Any ideas or possible known fiXes I may have overlooked? Any and all help is most appreciated!
Thank you in advance,
Dr. W

What version are you using this was a bug that has been fixed in V1.5 as far as I'm aware
Thanks -
I recently upgraded to 1.5 (couple of weeks ago?)
I haven't deleted anyone.
Do you get any other errors
This error is usually related to an entity (comment, picture, entry etc) that does not have a a owner That's why I was asking if you had deleted someone Try going to members under tools (if you have the plugin enabled) and going backwards through your members list to see if you get the same error message on some page. If you cannot find anything there then is probably some stray comment or entry something.
You could try disabling blogs in your admin tools config, clear your cache, log out, reload your page and see if your page comes back. If your front page comes back it is something in blogs.
If this doesn't work then do exactly the same thing with members, Disable, clear cache, logout reload.
Try this for any plugin that is loaded on the front page to try to isolate the issue Once isolated you'll know where to concentrate your efforts and look for possible solutions.
Have you tried running the garbage collector
It is always a good idea to take a complete db backup before starting anything
i also have this problem...please help. i never deleted anything. my site was running for a week then the next day when i check it, i got this error message. i can't see the login page but for other pages, i can browse it. only the login page i can't see.
i also tried the garbage collector but it didnt work.
oh geez....i disable the customindex plugins and it worked fine. whats wrong with this plugin?
oopss...disabling it is not the total solution. i found out that when i click TOOLS->MEMBERS i got the same error. so i guess there's something wrong with my user database. any help will be appreciated.
what exactly does it say? just the above? or do you get any reference to guid numbers?
InvalidParameterException
All files must have an owner!
this is all i got when i click the MEMBERS under the TOOLBAR. now i know why my customindex displays same error, coz it also has MEMBERS widget on it. i dont get any reference to guid numbers also.
I had a similar problem and was able to fix up the database by changing a single record in MySQL.
