I've been tweaking the CSS forever but I haven't managed to change the background colours yet. Please help!

You must log in to post replies.lots of themes and plugins and stuff for this, but its cool. exactly which background colors do you want to change? do you want an image or a different color?
I¨m using proskin theme and trying to change all the backgrounds into dark gray #333333. I'm trying to use customize css -plugin to override the proskin css -settings.
Got it. I had to firts remove the css relations from default/views/css/elgg.php
Why could it be that much of the css works/looks different when logged in or unlogged?
Just open views\default\css\elements\typography.php in your theme and change:
