Hi -
I'm a newbe of Elgg and really enjoy it. One of the things I struggle with it, at the moment, is - I try to add additional entries of blogs, files, bookmarks etc to my site. For example, I wish three chapters of blogs -
Blogs
Poems
Stories
and 2 plugins of files:
Persoanl Files
Community files
Any clue how I can do it without crawling thorugh all the plugin's code and replacing "blog" with "blog2"?
Cheers

Withotut "crawling through all the plugin's code ...?" Probably not.
take blog plugin and change
So instead of being lazy I did crawl to all files, I found 470ish entries of "blog" and around 50 of "Blog", changed them, changed the files too and it worked fine.
Cheers!
@banz: u r doing very good ! u earned respect for your patience to learn, unlike some majority that expect others to do the work for them !;-p;X stay cool with the code..;)
Well done not being lazy... I'm glad it worked out!
