Hi everyone,

Am using elgg 1.8.8. Where can I find the file that deals with Post.

I want to change the maximum of 140 characters for a Post and Reply.

There is not a good way to do this now. You can vote this ticket to be fixed: http://trac.elgg.org/ticket/1919, but pull requests are going to make things happen the fastest.
