Hi Developers...Am facing a critical problem.......I requested my host administrator for an upgrade in PHP so they told "we will change your server so please back up the files"
From cpanel>>BackUps>> i download home directory backup
and i Download files inside Public_html folder as zip and elgg's data folder also as zip(data folder was outside Public_html)
and then i opened phpmyadmin and exported my elgg database.....
After Server changed i uploaded files inside public_html folder and elgg's data folder to Home Directory
And created database and user with old same names and password...
and imported the database.....
And now its showing 404 error when accessing my website........So what To Do ??....

I followed this but no luck http://community.elgg.org/discussion/view/729114
Just a 404 error? Looks like it could be that the server migration is not done yet. When a host move your website to another server, you don't have to reinstall everything, that's a standard procedure that they do and most of the times it doesn't affect your site. That was a warning just in case something goes wrong.
You didn't have to reinstall everything. Since you did, I have few questions:
Did you just exported or save a backup of the entire database?
Did you do all of these: http://docs.elgg.org/wiki/Duplicate_Installation ?

rjcalifornia Thankz So Much For Replaying Me..........
I Resolved the problem....It was because of .htaccess file and that file is from server side...contacted server provider and they deleted that file...Now every thing fixed...
