Hi,
I would like to add static content (in this case piwik/matomo javascript) that should be loaded with every page.
Is there a generic way to do so without having modifications over written by updates ? Think of personalizing footer for example.
Could someone tell me how to do it please ?

You must log in to post replies.By creating a plugin (which you can develop yourself or have someone develop it for you) you can add or overrule most any part of Elgg.
For adding analytics code there is a view `page/elements/foot` which you can extend and display your tracking code
Have a look at http://learn.elgg.org/en/stable/guides/views.html#extending-views
This way your code is save from updates in Elgg core.
