I think it's impossible on Elgg 3 bcz theren't any plugin for this feature.

In first, you should use composer on the new project not the existing Elgg.

I have read the documentation, but I am still unclear as to how to setup composer for a new project. I don't quite understand how to setup the files, I need and example setup.
