You must log in to post replies. What URL are you accessing? What errors are you seeing, on the page, and in your server logs?
I access with the link http: // localhost / name_of_website / hello and the error generer is Page not found Sorry. We are unable to find the page you are requesting. So I followed the whole tutorial procedure thanks
Make sure you have made no errors in adding the code described in the tutorial and followed all instructions from beginning to end.
If you have made any changes in the code of your hello plugin after activating the plugin, flush the site cache in the admin section of your site (or deactivate and the re-activate the plugin). During development it's best to keep the caching options disabled as you won't see the changes without flushing the site cache otherwise.
If it was done. I have disabled the following options before trading the development: Use simple cache and Use system cache and then I activated Display fatal PHP errors and I always have the same error whose page not found. thanks @iionly
Is you site url http: //localhost/name_of_website? If not, (e.g. if it's http: //localhost or http: //name_of_website) you would need to access the "hello" page with the corresponding site url.
Also, the tutorial requires Elgg 2.0 at minimum.
Have you correctly added the pagehandler function to start.php as described in the tutorial? Only with the pagehandler the routing to the "hello" page will work. And if you have any typos in your code this might cause the "page not found" error. You might want to try copy+paste the code to make sure you have no errors if you haven't already done it this way.
thanks but i rewrite and code the same file isn't waka. i copy and paste the code nothing .
I say to myself or it is because of 15 juil. 2017 11:43:17 : Retrieving Location: http://www.elgg.org/plugin_manifest/1.8
