Hello guys!
I am using elgg to built a social network for my school paper.
I have a problem while trying to register more test people on my site. The validation e-mail never sent to these accounts i used to register.
Any ideas why this is happening and what can i do for this?
I am using the final version of elgg and i don't have any 3d parties plugin that is blocking the procedure.
Thanks in advance,

You must log in to post replies.I use a local server on my laptop*****
You would have to configure your PHP to use an SMTP server. Sendmail doesn't work locally.
You can also use SendGrid or Mailgun Elgg plugin for testing. Both service provide free email packages, which should be sufficient for testing.
Configuring PHP is not an option on sites that run multiple domains. We need a quick solution on Elgg to use an external SMTP server instead.
