Hello,
I have Elgg website, after I checked (Restrict pages to logged-in users) in Elgg advanced setting, some users (after Login) redirect to sitename.com/favicon.ico.
I search this problem on google for Elgg but I can't find clear answer. how can I fix this?

You must log in to post replies.Have you actually observed this, or are you guessing from reporting data? What version of Elgg?
This is indeed a bug that was fixed recently. The fix is in 1.12.11 and 2.1.2.
I use Elgg 2.1.1 (Release 2015062900) and this problem happen to me too. is it fix on Elgg 2.1.2?
how can I update website just for solving this bug?
Another Question: what different between Elgg 1.12.11 and 2.1.2 ? which one is better for small social network ?
It's recommended to use 2.1.2 for new networks. In December, 1.12 updates will end except for security.
I install 2.1.2 and it's work good. thanks
