For some reason your site fails to load CSS files. Is your site's .htaccess file up to date with the contents onf the one shipped with 2.0 in install/config/htaccess.dist? Does your site have read and write access to the dataroot?
Thank you for the response. Yes the site's .htaccess file is upto date with the contents shipped with 2.0 in install/config/htaccess.dist. what is the path to the dataroot ?. Thank you for the help
Dataroot is the directory that you entered when you originally installed Elgg. It's the place on your server, where Elgg saves e.g. images and other uploads.
Yes. then the site has the access to the dataroot.
Add an empty file called "disabled" into the mod/ directory and test again. This disables all plugins temporarily, so you can verify that the problem is not caused by a broken plugin.
Thanks for the tip. After doing this , I did a activate all for all plugins. there is an error which shows
Form is missing __token or __ts fields
Where does this point to ?
Did you deactivate the mod plugins as mentioned by juho? If yes, then test the upgraded installation with plugins deactivated and see if the same problem still occurs. If no deactivate the mod plugins as described by juho and test the upgraded installation.elgg 2.0. And see if the same problem still occurs..this is to know if problem is caused by a broken plugin
In your mod.so deactivate all plugins and test your upgraded installation.
Thank you for the suggestion. I deactivated all the plugins and tested. still the problem persists
