Site notifications is listed on both pages as one of the available notification methods.
I dont have an "Settings -> Notifications" here .. the plugin is activated

Ah ok, I thaught you meant the backend. Ok, thats clear, but where comes the page "/site_notifications" comes from? Its actually empty, empty here in this platform, too. How can I put content into this page?

Thank you! I totally misinterpreted this page, thaught it would be a global site-wide info-page, configured by admins. The german translation is maybe not the best.
