<link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" id="arrowchat_css" media="all" href="/galaxy/arrowchat/external.php?type=css" charset="utf-8" />
<script type="text/javascript" src="/galaxy/arrowchat/includes/js/jquery.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="/galaxy/arrowchat/includes/js/jquery-ui.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="/galaxy/arrowchat/external.php?type=djs" charset="utf-8"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="/galaxy/arrowchat/external.php?type=js" charset="utf-8"></script>
do i have to simply add like this????
<?php
/**
* Elgg footer
* The standard HTML footer that displays across the site
*
* @package Elgg
* @subpackage Core
*
*/
echo elgg_view_menu('footer', array('sort_by' => 'priority', 'class' => 'elgg-menu-hz'));
<script type="text/javascript" src="/galaxy/arrowchat/external.php?type=djs" charset="utf-8"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="/galaxy/arrowchat/external.php?type=js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Why do the files have a .php suffix if they are javascript files?
Where are the files located on the server (e.g. "/var/path/to/your/elgg/galaxy/etc")?
it's in my XAMPP directory
doing it locally on my PC
So it's in the wwwroot? Not within an Elgg plugin? What about the suffix?
here's is the code i simply need to add this in my head tag and footer tag
http://www.arrowchat.com/documentation/?p=header-footer-code
And which Elgg version are you using?
1.12
In that case I'd add the javascript using this method: http://learn.elgg.org/en/1.12/guides/javascript.html#using-traditional-js-libraries-as-modules ("Using traditional JS libraries as modules")
Set both jquery and jquery-ui as dependencies so you don't have to separately add those at all.
